JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The order dated 02.03.2023 passed in W.P.(MD)No.13381 of 2016 is under challenge in the present Writ Appeal.

2.The appellants are the legal representatives of the original writ petitioner / deceased Vanitha. The Writ Petition was instituted, seeking a direction to consider and pass orders on the representation of the original writ petitioner dated 19.11.2015. The representation was submitted stating that the original writ petitioner deceased Vanitha was the owner of the land in S.No.156 of Ottanchatram Village and it was taken over under the provisions of the Land Reforms Act and the same was allotted to Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat 2/4

Development Board, which in turn has allotted the same to various poor people. Therefore, there is no question of re-conveyance of the lands, which were already taken over by the Government under the provisions of the Land Reforms Act. Thus, we do not find any reason to interfere with the order passed by the learned Single Judge. Therefore, this Writ Appeal stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
