ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent herein to consider and dispose of petitioner's representation dated 29.09.2015.

2. Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner herein filed an appeal as against the issuance of patta in favour of eight persons viz., Pandi Nadar, Arumugam, N.Paulraj, Shanmugavel, Muniyammal, Kanthasamy, Sumathi and Velchamy in respect of Survey No.450/1B Vadakku Kalmedu Village. But the above said appeal is pending for the past one year and hence, he prayed for dismissal of the writ petition.

5.Though very many contentions have been raised in the Writ Petition, at the time of making submissions, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that if a direction is given to the third respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, that would be suffice.

In view of the same, without going into merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner.

7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
