This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2020 and provide sufficient police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members.

2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Protector appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that on receipt of the complaint given by the petitioner, the second respondent police initiated an enquiry in C.S.R.No.350 of 2020 dated 04.08.2020 and as of now, petition enquiry is pending on the file of the second respondent. He would further submit that police protection will be given to the petitioner, if it is necessary.
