O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to pass appropriate orders, on the petitioner's representation, dated 17.12.2014 and prohibiting the 5th respondent from Telecasting the Local Channels through MSO in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Jayamangalam and Vadugaptti Villages, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District.

2. According to the petitioner, he is functioning as Cable T.V. Operator right from 1993 onwards. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has given a representation to the respondents on 17.12.2014 and so far, the said representation has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, he has filed the present writ petition.

3. Mr.Abdul Saleem, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents/Arasu Cable TV Corporation submitted that they are ready and willing to consider the petitioner's representation within a time limit prescribed by this Court.

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.12.2014, after giving an opportunity to the petitioner as well as any rival claimant, if any, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
