O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the Contemnor/Respondent herein for the willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.13477 of 2019, dated 16.10.2019.

2.This Court, by an order dated 16.10.2019 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.13477 of 2019 directed the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.318 of 2019 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

Cont.P.(MD).No.612 of 2020 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that as directed by this Court, the respondent police has completed the investigation in Crime No.318 of 2019 and also filed a final report before the Court concerned and it is pending for committal proceedings in P.R.C.No.972 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramnad.
