*********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu, namely, Poornima, aged about 18 years, Daughter of Ethiraj, before this Court and set her at liberty.
3. The petitioner is the father of the detenu and according to him, the detenu was missing from 16.05.2017 onwards.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions from the second respondent police, has produced a letter stated to be written by the detenu to the Superintendent of Police, Thanjavur District, wherein, apart from other things, she has stated that she has married one R.Sivakumar and the marriage has been registered on 22.05.2017 before the Sub-Registrar, Omalur and CSR number given by the Alagappa Nagar Police Station, based on the complaint given by the father of the fifth respondent has been enclosed along with the letter. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor is directed to hand over one photostat copy of the said letter along with cover and annexure to the learned counsel for the petitioner so as to enable the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
5. The Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with the above observation.
