: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body and person of the petitioner's elder son, by name, B.Muthuramalingam, aged about 30 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

*********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner is the mother of the detenu, who is aged about 30 years and seeks for a direction to the respondents to produce him before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. The complaint made by the wife of the detenu, namely, Anitha, has been registered as Crime No.53 of 2017, on the file of the third respondent police and the matter is being investigated. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on reliable information from the second respondent police, reports that the

detenu eloped with another lady, who is also married.

4. In view of the above, we are of the view that there is no illegal detention of the detenu. In any event, the respondents are directed to investigate the case and file final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of on the above terms.
