O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents / Deputy Tahsildar, Alanganallur, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, and the Taluk Surveyor, Pannaikudi Village, Alanganallur, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, to demarcate and fix the boundaries with respect to the lands in survey No.104/9 measuring 0.0045 Hectares at Pannaikudi Village, Vadipatti Taluk,

2. In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the petitioner had stated that the aforementioned lands are ancestral properties and originally belonged to his father Raman Ambalam. After 2/5

his death, it devolved to his mother Akkammal, to his elder brother Daivendran and to himself. The copy of the patta, reflecting all the three names, has been filed as a document. The petitioner had also filed necessary application through online on 20.02.2023.

3. In view of the above circumstances, after hearing the learned Special Government Pleader, a direction is issued to the respondents to issue notice to the mother, elder brother of the petitioner herein and thereafter, demarcate the aforementioned lands and fix the boundary stones. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
