O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents / Tahsildar (North), Karuvanur Village, *Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District and the Surveyor of the said Tahsildar Office, to survey and demarcate the property of the petitioner in Survey No.2/3B in Karuvanur Village, *Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District. The lands measure to an extent of 0.11.0 Ares.

2. The property originally belonged to the forefathers of the petitioner herein and lastly was in the name of her mother Velumayil. She had died on 09.06.2019. The legal heirship certificate had been enclosed. The petitioner is the eldest daughter. There are younger sisters and younger brothers. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

3. Let the respondents issue notice to all the legal heirs and thereafter, take a considered decision to measure the property. The petitioner has not sought for sub- division of the properties, but only to measure the aforementioned lands. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
