Respondents Prayer:This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents herein to produce the body and limb of detenue namely Geetha, W/o. Balamurugan aged about 27 years before the Court and set her at liberty. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Shajahan.

For Respondents : Mr.T.Mohan, Additional Public Prosecutor.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J) The petitioner, who is the mother of the detenue, seeks to produce of her daughter before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. According to petitioner, the detenue is in the custody of the 3rd respondent.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that on the complaint given by the mother-in-law of the detenue, she was produced before the Judicial Magistrate, Sivagangai. The petitioner has also met the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

detenue. After meeting the detenue, the petitioner has given a letter saying that she has got nothing to do with the detenue as she has refused to joint her and her child.
