Respondents P RAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to pass necessary order for mutating the A-Register with respect to the classification of the land in S.No.223/4 extent of 0.39.0 Ares (96 Cents) in Sakkottai Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2022 within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of the statutory appeal pending on the file of the second respondent. 2.Aggrieved by the refusal of the third respondent for issuing No Objection Certificate, the petitioner had filed a statutory appeal before the second respondent on 05.11.2020, which is still pending. The petitioner seeks for earlier disposal of the statutory appeal.

3.Heard Mr.S.Balakarthick, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the second respondent, if a direction is issued by this Court to the second respondent to pass https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.[MD]No.8603 of 2022 final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal dated 18.11.2020 after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary parties, whom the second respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
