ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 406, 420 and 506 (i) of I.P.C., in Crime No. not known on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has received a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- from the de facto complainant and he failed to repay the said amount. When the de facto complainant requested to repay the said amount, he was threatened by the petitioner herein. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the petition enquiry is pending and no case has been registered against the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4. Since no case has been registered against this petitioner and only the petition enquiry is pending, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to move a petition before the appropriate forum, if any case has been registered against him.
