K.Kendikaran, aged about 20 years before this Court and set her at liberty For Petitioner : Mr.D.Sadiq Raja For Respondents : Mr.C.Ramesh, Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM) This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the father of the detenue aged about 20 years who is missing since 30.05.2017 and the complaint has been given to the 2nd respondent police, which has been registered in Cr.No.97 of 2017 under "woman missing" category.

2. From the averments made in the complaint as well as in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, it is clear that the petitioner is aware of the fact that the detenue wanted to go along with the 3rd respondent. Since a case has already been registered by the 2nd respondent, we direct the 2nd respondent to investigate the same and produce the detenue before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of his order. With the above direction, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
