Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide compensation under G.O.(D)No.160 dated 03.11.2021 for the death of the petitioner's father due to a snake bite by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2022 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner's father died due to snake bite way back in the year 2010. Subsequently, his mother also passed away. The petitioner wants the respondents to pay compensation. The petitioner's request cannot be accepted for the simple reason that the petitioner's father was a pensioner. In any event in respect of the death that occurred way back in the year 2010, the question of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.9179 of 2022 invoking writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India does not arise at all. No case has been made out for granting relief.
