O R D E R

The petitioner is the father of the Accused Nos.28 and 32. The petitioner has approached this Court that the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of searching for his sons, namely, 1/5

Anees and Venkatesh.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that when the respondents police have attempted to arrest the accused, a mob of 50 persons caused damage to the police vehicle on 23.03.2024 and therefore, a case was registered in Crime No.71 of 2024 on the file of the Samayanallur Police Station for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 307 and 353 of IPC, Section 20(b)(ii)(B) and 8(c) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Section 3A(1)(a) of TN Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, 1959 and Section 3(1) of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992. In that case, the petitioner's sons are arrayed as A28 and A32. In search of these accused only, they went to the petitioner's house.

3.Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), this petition is closed with liberty to the respondents police to go and search the petitioner's premises and to secure the accused, in the manner known to law.
