ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the second respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint, dated 04.01.2022 and complete the enquiry.
2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint to the respondent police and for the same, he was issued a receipt in CSR.No.7 of 2022, dated 04.01.2022. After receiving the said complaint, the second respondent didn't conduct any investigation in this regard and kept the same without progress. The petitioner has also approached the first respondent for further progress. But, there is no improvement in the investigation. Under these circumstances, he filed this petition, pleading to speed up the enquiry.

W.P(MD).No.9002 of 2022 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents admitted that the complaint has been received by the respondent police, CSR.No.7 of 2022 has been assigned to the said complaint and the investigation is going on. Further, he sought two weeks time to complete the investigation.
4.In view of the said submission, the second respondent is directed to speed up the investigation based on the complaint received in CSR.No.7 of 2022 and complete the investigation within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
