date of present application.
Prayer in WP(MD)No.30200 of 2024 :- This Writ Petition is filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent, i.e, the Secretary to Government, Agriculture Department,Chennai to pass appropriate final orders on the disciplinary action initiated against the petitioner in Memo No.DCS1/3802/12-2 dated 28.05.2012 of the Commissioner of Horticulture and Plantation crops. Chennai and in Memo No.DCS1/3802/12 dated 12.04.2013 of the Commissioner of Horticulture and plantation crops, Chennai.
ORDER:- This Writ Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s.S.R.A.Ramachandran, Additional Government Pleader, Advocate for the Petitioners and of Mr.S.Viswalingam, Advocate for the respondent, this Court made the following order: This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" to grant 6 months time to comply the order passed in WP (MD) No. 30200 of 2024 dated 16.12.2024.
2. It is seen from the records, while disposing the present writ petition, this Court by an order dated 16.12.2024, directed the petitioners herein to pass final
orders in the disciplinary proceedings within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of that order. However, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the petitioners sought time for a further time for a period of six months to comply with the said order.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to comply with the aforesaid order dated 16.12.2024. No further time shall be granted in this regard. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
