Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner is none other than the biological brother of the fifth respondent. The petitioner makes some allegation against the fifth respondent and wants the authorities to take disciplinary action against the fifth respondent.

3. I have consistently been taking the view that the writ court ought not to issue direction to the disciplinary authority to take action against the subordinate officials. The matter is left entirely to the discretion of the concerned authority. It is for the third respondent to take a call in the matter. 2/4
