: Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus petition, directing respondents to produce the body and person of petitioner's husband namely Ashraf S/o Noordeen aged about 34 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

*********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] This petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu for production of the detenu, who according to the petitioner has been illegally detained.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents on instruction from the respondent police submitted that the detenu is a history sheeted rowdy and wanted in several cases and now arrested in connection with the case Registered in Crime No.297 of 2017 by the Thuckalay Police Station and the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pathmanabhapuram has remanded him to judicial custody.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the detenu should be given medical treatment.

4.In case the detenu requires medical treatment, a petition may be filed before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, which shall be considered in accordance with law.

5.This Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed with the above observation.
