RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for surrender and furnishing Sureties in compliance of the condition imposed in the above Anticipatory bail in Crl.OP(MD)No.6339 of 2020, dated 18.06.2020 by two weeks Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.K.A.MARIAPPAN, Advocate for the petitioners and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Criminal side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioners to execute the sureties and surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that that earlier this Court by an order, dated 18.06.2020 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners on condition to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- each totally Rs.20,000/- by way of Demand Draft in favour of the Dean, Ramanathapuram Medical College Hospital, Ramanathapuram District on or before 30.06.2020. Thereafter, the petitioners have filed a modification petition before this Court and the same was dismissed on 13.07.2020 in Crl.M.P.(MD)No.3467 of 2020, on condition to deposit the said amount within a period of two weeks. Pursuant to the said order, the petitioners have appeared before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rameswaram along with two sureties and the learned Magistrate has refused to accept the sureties on the ground https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
CRL MP(MD) No.3888 of 2020 that the time is lapsed and returned the sureties. 3.Hence, the petitioners seek two weeks time to deposit the said amount and execute the sureties.
4.Considering the request, time granted by this Court vide order dated 18.06.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.6339 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today.
