*********** [Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] The petitioner is the father of the detenue - Priya, D/o.Dhavamani, aged about 19 years. He has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition stating that his daughter was found missing from 11.01.2017. Suspecting that the third respondent and his parents had kidnapped his daughter, he lodged a complaint on 11.01.2017 itself, based on which, a case was registered in Crime No.46 of 2017 for offences under Sections 366, 109 and 506(i) IPC. Since no effective steps have been taken so far to trace out the detenue, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Habeas Corpus Petition.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the second respondent police produced the detenue before this Court. On our enquiry, the detenue stated that on her own volition, she went along with the third respondent and married him at Alagarkovil. We also enquired the petitioner, who is present in Court today and he has also given his consent for their marriage. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Therefore, recording the submission made by the detenue, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed giving liberty to the detenue to go along with the third respondent.
