O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to produce her husband, Vetrivadivelan, aged about 34 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. The petitioner would claim that she was married to the detenu in the year 2012 and they are having a daughter, aged about 6 years. According to the petitioner, her husband is working as an Auto Driver and he was found missing from 12.02.2021. In this regard, she has lodged a complaint before the second respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.225 of 2021 under Man missing. But, no action was taken thereafter and hence, she has filed the present petition.

3. Today, the learned Standing Counsel for the State has produced the detenu before this Court and we have enquired him.

4. The detenu submitted that in view of his financial problems, he left to Coimbatore to find out some job. After knowing about the pendency of this case, he returned to his home and now, joined with his wife / the petitioner herein.

5. In the light of the above statement made by the detenu, this habeas corpus petition stands closed, as no further order is required to be passed.
