O R D E R

*********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner has filed this petition, stating that his father Mr.Santhanam, aged about 62 years, is missing since 23.02.2015 and the complaint in this regard was given to the second respondent police, which has been registered as Crime No.17 of 2015, on the file of Kurangani Police Station under "Man Missing" category.

2.On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that extensive search has been made in the hill area by the respondent police and the Anti-Naxalites Squad. Still there is no clue available. It has come to the knowledge of the respondent police that the petitioner was working as a Manager in an Estate and since the area is very big forest area, it is very difficult for them to trace the detenu, but, steps have been taken by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent police to secure the detenu.

3.In the light of the above submissions, the respondent police are directed to investigate the case and file a final report before the concerned Court within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
