O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce his daughter, namely, Pavithra, aged about 19 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. It is alleged by the petitioner in the affidavit filed in support of the habeas corpus petition that when he, his wife and son went for employment on 01.07.2020, the respondents 3 to 6 abducted his daughter in an Autorickshaw and keeping her in their illegal detention.

Mr.V.Neelakandan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would state that the detenue is a major and she was having love affair with one Prakadeeswaran / third respondent herein and they got married on 01.07.2020 at Thirupparankundram Murugan Temple and after filing of this habeas corpus petition, the detenue along with her husband appeared before Koodalpudur Police Station on 11.08.2020 and gave a statement to the effect that she is living happily with her husband / third respondent. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has also produced a copy of the said statement, dated 11.08.2020, before this Court.

4. In the light of the above facts, the habeas corpus petition is closed as no further orders are necessary.
