[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. The petitioner is the mother of the detenu, who is stated to be missing. The apprehension of the petitioner is that the detenu would have been murdered. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police have registered a case on the file of Anna Nagar Police Station, Madurai. Thus, we direct the respondent police to effectively investigate the matter and produce the detenu before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Commissioner of Police, Madurai City, the first respondent herein, is directed to monitor the investigation.
