The Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to add one mark to the petitioner under sports quota by considering his representation dated 26.04.2021 and also consequently direct the respondent to include the petitioner's name for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police, based on the recruitment notification (2/2019) dated 08.03.2019 forthwith.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.Veera Kathiravan, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Government has informed this Court that the petitioner's representation has been duly considered by the respondent and rejection order has been passed.
