ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.
2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b) and 506(i) of I.P.C., in Crime No.Not Known of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that no case has been registered as against the petitioner and the petition enquiry is pending. 4.At this stage, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that considering the present pandemic situation, a direction may be given to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 5.In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, no such direction can be issued to the respondent police and it is the duty of the petitioner to appear before the respondent police for enquiry.
