PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated 24.01.2022 passed by the second respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to issue Hindu - Kattu Naickan - Scheduled Tribe Community Certificate to the petitioner. [Order of the Court was made by R. SUBRAMANIAN, J.] As against the rejection of her request for community certificate, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the District Collector, Thoothukudi District and it is stated that the same is pending and the District Collector, Thoothukudi has directed an enquiry to be conducted. The said enquiry is also going on. In such circumstances, we do not think we can entertain this writ petition. We therefore, dispose of this Writ Petition with a direction to the District Collector, Thoothukudi District to dispose of the petitioner's appeal within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
