O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the second respondent / Taluk Surveyor, East Taluk, Madurai District, to survey the lands of the petitioner, at Resurvey No.25/1B1A in Plot No.3 measuring 9.73 cents in Vandiyur 1st bit village, Bharathipuram,Madurai North Taluk, Madurai.

2. When the matter had come up earlier on 19.04.2023, this Court had directed the petitioner to furnish the details of the adjacent land owners who apparently raised objections. Accordingly, a memo had been filed giving the name and address of the adjacent land owner namely, P.Karthikeyan, son of Paramanantham, Door No.266, Nethaji Street, Nagamalai Pudukottai, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai - 625 019, Phone No.96268 27324.

A direction is given to the respondents 1 and 2 to issue notice not only to the petitioner, but also to the aforementioned individual and thereafter, examine whether survey could be done and if could be done proceed to conduct the survey. If objections are raised, then file a report relating to the nature of the objections. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
