ORDER

(Judgment of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J) The petitioner is the father of the detenu, aged about 17 years, said to be missing since 15.05.2017. It is alleged that the third respondent had kidnapped the detenu.

2.The respondent police produced the detenu before us. When we questioned her, she stated that on her own volition, she left her parents as there was some proposal to get her married and now she is willing to join her parents.

3.We questioned the petitioner and his wife and advised that the detenu should be permitted to pursue her education and there cannot be any compulsion for her to get married as she is only 17 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

years. The petitioner and his wife agreed before us and understood what we have conveyed. Thus, we find that there is no case of illegal detention. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
