*********** [Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice] This application has been filed by the petitioner seeking Writ of Habeas Corpus for production in Court of his wife - V.Sornalakshmi, who is apparently aged 47 years and his daughter, Senbagavalli, aged about 15 years.
2. It is alleged that the respondent No.3, being the sister of the petitioner's wife - B.Sornalakshmi, has detained her. It, however, appears that there was matrimonial dispute between the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner and his wife, which even led to a decree of divorce way back in the year 2008.
3. The remedy, if any, of the petitioner with regard to his minor daughter lies in initiation of appropriate proceedings before the Family Court/Civil Court of competent jurisdiction. The Writ Petition is patently misconceived and is dismissed. The dismissal of this Writ Petition will not prevent the petitioner from availing such other remedies as may be available to him in law.
