ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus to return the petitioner's driving licence bearing driving licence No.TN67Z20020001166, in the light of order passed by this Court in the case of P.Sethuram Vs. The Licensing Authority, The Regional Transport Officer, Dindigul reported in 2010 Writ L.R. 100. 2.The petitioner appears to have been involved in an accident while driving the bus belonging to Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Madurai) limited at Virudhunagar Region on 25.03.2022. It appears that an FIR was also registered against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 279 and 304(A) of IPC. 3.It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is deprived of his right of employment on account of the aforesaid accident. The respondent appears to have issued a show cause notice dated 26.04.2022.

W.P.(MD) No.8775 of 2022 4.Under these circumstances, I direct the respondent herein to conclude the show cause proceedings within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is at liberty to file suitable reply and appear before the respondent. 5.The writ petition stands disposed of, in terms of the above observation. No costs.
