PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent not to harass the Petitioner by compelling him to surrender before learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel in C.C.No.145 of 2014 in the place of second accused.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the Petitioner by compelling him to surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel. 2.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) on instructions, would submit that the police have informed that there is no petition or complaint pending against this petitioner. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police are insisting the petitioner to attend for an enquiry and to surrender before the Court in some other case. 4.In view of the specific statement made by the police that there is no petition pending against the petitioner, the respondent police shall not harass the petitioner or compel him to surrender before any Court.
