PRAYER :- For bail in Crime No. 1623 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A7, who was arrested on 27.08.2020 for the offences punishable under Section 8(c)r/w.20(b)(ii)(C) and 25,29 of NDPS Act in Crime No.1623 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. When the matter came for hearing today. the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the final report has been filed before the II Additional Special Court for NDPS Act cases, Madurai and a direction may be issued to the trial Court to dispose the case as expeditiously as possible.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petition stands dismissed. However the considering the fact that the final report has been filed and taken cognizance in C.C.No.309 of 2020, the trial Court is directed to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.7716 of 2021 complete the trial proceedings as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
