PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the Learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Kuzhithurai, Kanyakumari District to complete the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.261 of 2018 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Kuzhithurai, Kanyakumari District to complete the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.261 of 2018 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending trial without any progress.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the some of the witnesses have been examined in this case.

4. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Kuzhithurai, Kanyakumari District to dispose the case pending in CC No. 261 of 2018 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings.
