ORDER

The petitioner has come to this Court seeking a limited prayer directing the first respondent The Commissioner, Mines and Minerals, Chennai to consider his appeal dated 24.06.2014 filed against the order passed by the second respondent The District Collector, Kanyakumari District, Nagercoil wherein the claim of the petitioner to set up Sand Stockyard was refused.

2.Mrs.Bharathi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition, this Court directs the first respondent, The Commissioner, Mines and Minerals, Chennai to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 24.06.204 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
