PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to issue order of direction, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection for surveying the petitioner's land situate in S.No.492/1B1, S.No.498/6 at Jeyamangalam Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni. For Petitioner : Mr. S.A.Ajmal kahan For Respondents : Mr. R.M.Anbunithi, No.R1 to R3 Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection for surveying the petitioner's land situate in S.No.492/1B1, S.No.498/6 at Jeyamangalam Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni.

2. The petitioner owned land in survey No.498/6 and S.No.492/18 at Jeyamangalam Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni and now the fourth respondent is obstructing the petitioner to survey the land, therefore the petitioner has submitted an application before the concerned Tahsildar to survey the property and he has also paid the requisite fee to survey the land.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the Surveyor is directed to survey the land as requested by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.8309 of 2022 petitioner. If the Surveyor feels any hindrance while surveying the land belonging to the petitioner, he can very well seek police protection before the second respondent. If any complaint lodged by the Surveyor while surveying the land seeking police protection, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

4. With the above observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
