This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No. 262 of 2013 dated 02.07.2013 and file a final report.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the investigation in Crime No.262 of 2013 has been completed and the case has been closed as mistake of fact on 09.07.2013 and a closure report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam.
