This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the 1/4

complaint filed by the respondent in STC.No.808 of 2022 on the file of the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Kamuthi, Ramanathapuram District.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner restricted her prayer to dispense with the personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court on the ground that the both the petitioner and the defacto complainant are women.

3. Considering the limited request made by the petitioner, the personal appearance of the petitioner alone is dispensed with the following conditions:

The petitioner shall appear before the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Kamuthi, Ramanthapuram District within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file an undertaking affidavit, by affixing her recent passport size photographs, to the effect that she will 2/4

appear before the trial Court as and when required and must ensure her proper representation through Advocate."

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
