RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT/ COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to grant extension of time to surrender before the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Pudukottai in pursuance of the order passed by this Hon'ble Court in Crl.OP(MD)No.2691/2021 dated 29.04.2021 in connection with the case in Crime No.22/2020 on the file of the respondent.
Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.D.SHANMUGARAJA SETHUPATHI, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.MUTHU MANICKAM, Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to grant extension of time to surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pudukottai in pursuance of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.2691 of 2021 dated 29.04.2021 in connection with the case in Crime No.22 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.
2.This Court, by order dated 29.04.2021 made in Crl.O.P(MD). No.2691 of 2021, directed the petitioner to appear before the concerned Magistrate Court, within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy was made ready. However, the petitioner did not comply with condition, within the time prescribed by this Court. CRL MP(MD) No.3741 of 2021 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent police. 4.Considering the reasons stated in the petition and also considering the prevailing pandemic situation, this petition is ordered and the time to surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court is extended by one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
