O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent herein to restore the drainage connection to petitioner's building in Door No.97/1 situated in Kamarajar Salai, Madurai.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the respondent herein has disconnected the drainage connection to his building bearing Door No.97/1 in Kamarajar Salai, Madurai, due to arrears in remitting property tax.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

4. This Court, on 29.10.2015, after hearing both the parties, has issued the following interim direction:

"...2.There shall be an order of interim direction, directing the petitioner to pay 50% of arrears of property tax to the respondent within a period of two weeks from today. On receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

temporarily restore drainage connection to petitioner's building in Door No.97/1 situated in Kamarajar Salai, Madurai..."

5. Today, i.e., on 14.07.2017, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is reported by the learned counsel for the respondent that the order of this Court dated 29.10.2015 has not been compiled with by the petitioner. The said submission has not been refuted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

6. In view of the same, the petitioner is not entitled for any relief and therefore, this writ petition is dismissed for noncompliance of the order of this Court. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
