Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner's daughter - Panchavarnam was born on 05.02.1978. However, by mistake her date of birth was entered as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.9064 of 2022 18.03.1078 in the birth certificate. The petitioner seeks correction. The third respondent is the competent authority. I am satisfied that a case for correction has been made out. Therefore, the third respondent is directed to issue a revised birth certificate to the petitioner by mentioning the date of birth of the petitioner's daughter, Panchavarnam as 05.02.1978. The writ petition stands allowed. The certificate shall be issued by the third respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
