PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to direct the 1st Respondent to transfer the investigation from 2nd respondent and to appoint some other investigation officer for conducting proper enquiry in the case in Crime No.196/2025, on the file of 2nd respondent police for filing the final report by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2026 as per the law, within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/4

ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the defacto complainant in crime No.196 of 2025 on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction for expeditious filing of the final report.

2. According to the learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the respondents, a case has been closed as mistake of fact in R.C.S.No.90 of 2025, and the petitioner has also been informed about the same on 08.10.2025 itself. He further submits that the report has also been dispatched to learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Ramanathapuram, on 08.10.2025.

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the appropriate forum for appropriate relief.

4. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
