O R D E R

The petitioner is before this Court seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider his representations dated 07.01.2026 and 06.03.2026.

2. By the said representations, the petitioner has requested the third respondent to issue a legal heirship certificate in respect of his deceased father. The grievance of the petitioner is that no steps have been taken by the third respondent to consider the said representations.

3. Mr. S. Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's representations will be considered in accordance with law within the time frame to be stipulated by this Court. The said submission is recorded.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 07.01.2026 and 06.03.2026 on their own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

5. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. No costs.
