O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction upon the second respondent Police to complete the investigation, in Crime No.178 of 2015, and file a final report before the concerned forum within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. A perusal of the F.I.R would go to show that it was registered only on 02.11.2015 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 427 and 506(ii) I.P.C.

4. Going by the nature of the allegations and the number of accused involved in this case, this Court is of the view that it will take some time to complete the investigation by the second respondent. Hence, the criminal original petition is disposed of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with a direction to the second respondent to expedite the investigation, in Crime No.178 of 2015, and file a final report before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate Court, as expeditiously as possible.
