For Respondent : Mr.M.Chandrasekaran, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.209 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 182,124(A), 294(b), 336,386, 505(2),506(ii),507 of IPC and Sections 66(D) and 67 of Information Technology Act seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein said to have sent some obscene and threatening messages to the Grievance Cell of the Superintendent of Police office. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is working in Dubai as driver. He would also submit that the petitioner is often receiving anonymous calls and videos from various persons scolding him in filthy language, hence inorder to give complaint he has sent the same to the Superintendent of Police, Grievance Cell as complaint. CRL OP(MD). No.8173 of 2020 various representations to the respondent police and since no action has been sent inorder to give complaint he has sent the messages received by him to the grievance cell.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is deliberately sending messages to the Superintendent of Police, Grievance Cell. He would also submit that the petitioner is frequently changing the mobile number and sending to the Superintendent of Police officer and the produced the phone numbers used by the petitioner herein.

5. It is seen that the petitioner is deliberately sending threatening and obscene messages to Superintendent of Police, Grievance cell.

6.Taking into consideration the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. Hence this petition stands dismissed.
