O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction upon the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Srivilliputtur, to take necessary steps to secure the first accused in C.C.No.124 of 2015 and complete the trial as expeditiously as possible.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner herein, the respondent Police registered a case in Crime No.21 of 2014, on 09.07.2014, for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) I.P.C., 4 of D.P.Act and 4 of Women Harassment Act, against M.Balamurugan (first accused), Mookkiah (second accused), https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Mariammal (third accused), Balraj (fourth accused) and Balakrishnan (fifth accused) and after completion of investigation in Crime No.21 of 2014, the respondent Police filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputtur, in C.C.No.124 of 2015.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that she got married to Balamurugan (first accused) on 15.12.2004 and thereafter she was subjected to dowry harassment by her husband Balamurugan and his family members.

5. It is represented that except Balamurugan (first accused), the other accused have been granted anticipatory bail by the Court below. It is also represented that this Court has granted certain interim orders in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.15643 of 2015 in favour of the accused 2 to 5. Under such circumstances, the respondent Police is directed to take all necessary steps to secure Balamurugan (first accused) and produce him before the Trial Court in C.C.No.124 of 2015, as expeditiously as possible.

6. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
