ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2. With the consent of the other side the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The revenue records in respect of the petition mentioned property stood in the name of the petitioner. At the instance of one Iyyadurai, the patta in the name of the petitioner was cancelled by the second respondent. Questioning the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent. The appeal was filed as early as in August 2021. The petitioner seeks disposal of the said appeal.

4. The first respondent is directed to dispose the said appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The first respondent shall ensure that the contesting respondents in the said appeal are duly served within a period of four weeks from today. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
