: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to secure the detenue namely, D.Soundarya daughter of Duraipandian, aged about 15 years and produce the body of the detenue before this Court and handover the detenue to the petitioner.

This petition has been filed to produce the detenue, namely, Soundarya, aged 15 years before this Court.
2. The detenue Soundarya was produced before this Court today. We examined her and she stated that she failed in the 10th standard examination and fearing the consequences, she went away from her house from Sankarankoil to Tiruppur. At Tiruppur, she has met one Pushpa and Velu, who are stated to be husband and wife and along with them she had gone to Chennai and was working in a house along with them. Thereafter, she was sent back and the police in the meantime secured the detenue and produced her before this Court. 3. The mother of the detenue was also present before this Court and she stated that the detenue had failed in the 10th standard examination and therefore, she was making arrangements to get her admitted for tuition.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the statements have been recorded both from the detenue as well as the mother.
5. In view of the above development, no further orders are required to be passed in the Habeas Corpus Petition and the detenue shall go along with the petitioner. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
