ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue a patta in the name of the petitioner's minor son by name Kathir Aswin to his land in TS.No.229/115 measuring to an extent of 560 sq. ft. situated at Palayamchettikulam Village, Palayamkottai, Ward No.21, Tirunelveli Corporation, Tirunelveli.
2. Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
3. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. In the affidavit it has been averred that the petitioner's father-in-law by name Madasamy owned a land in T.S.No.229/115 measuring to an extent of 01204 sq. ft. at Palayamchettikulam Village, Palayamkottai, in Ward No.21, Tirunelveli Corporation, Tirunelveli. He executed a registered settlement deed in favour of the minor son of the petitioner by name Kathir Aswin. After the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
settlement deed, the petitioner had the property tax in the name of his son to the Tirunelveli Corporation. Thereafter, on 05.10.2015, the petitioner had sent a representation to the respondent for getting patta in the name of the petitioner's minor son by name Kathir Aswin. But till date, the same was not considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the above stated relief.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the averments made in the Writ Petition, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.10.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law by affording an opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner and it is for the respondent to consider the same purely on merits.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
